西安交通大学是国家“985”工程第一批重点建设的9所大学（“C9”）之一，“国际经济法与比较法学科”是学校“985”三期重点建设的拟建世界一流学科。
作为教育部批准并资助的“学校特色项目”，西安交通大学 “丝绸之路国际经济法高级国际研讨班系列”旨在结合本学科优势，充分利用优质国际学术资源，培养高层次国际化的国际经济法专业人才。为此，西安交通大学丝绸之路国际法与比较法研究所将在未来三年内每年举办一次高端的国际经济法国际研讨班，聘请WTO法、国际投资法、国际商法等国际经济法领域的海内外知名学者教授前来授课。
第一期国际研讨班以“中国入世十年”（China in the WTO at 10th）为主题，将于2011年11月3日至11月9日在西安交通大学举行。研讨班全部课程以英文讲授，面向国内外招生，计划招收正式学员80人，名额有限，报名请从速。
一、招生对象
（1）高等院校相关专业优秀青年教师；
（2）品学兼优的相关专业博士生、硕士生、本科生；
（3）执业律师、法务人员、政府职员等。
二、相关费用
（1）学费（含注册费、培训费、资料费）：
学生500元人民币；
青年教师1000元人民币；
执业律师、法务人员、政府职员2000元人民币;
学生和青年教师确有需要者可申请减免。
（2）食宿费：
食宿统一安排，费用自理。
（3）差旅费：
费用自理。
三、时间地点
报到时间：2011年11月3日；
授课时间：2011年11月4日至11月8日；
授课地点：西安交通大学。
四、研讨班证书
参加研讨班并且考核合格者，统一授予教育部特色外专项目西安交通大学 “丝绸之路国际经济法高级国际研讨班”结业证书。
