This series of lectures intend to address most relevant problem of all academics - their constant need to write and publish their academic contribution - an article, chapter of a book or a monograph.
Part I will be explains how to choose a subject, how to start your work, where and how to conduct effective research on your topic etc. Also methodology will be discussed and how to effectively structure your paper.

This series of lectures intend to address most relevant problem of all academics - their constant need to write and publish their academic contribution - an article, chapter of a book or a monograph.
In Part II, the pertinent problems of students and academics will be addressed, namely, where to publish your work, how long the editorial process may take, and what steps you can take to raise your chances for successful publication. Should we go for chapter in edited book or rather as independent article in well-established journals? What surprises and problems awaits scholars during their publication process.
Dr. Maciej Zenkiewicz is Assistant Lecturer at the Chair of International Law, Nicolaus Copernicus University, Poland. He is a Research Professor in International Economic Law, Universidad Externado de Colombia and aMember of Academic Forum on ISDS.
He was a Visiting Fellow at the Lauterpacht Centre for International Law, University of Cambridge. His research area covers international economic law. He published a dozen of articles in Manchester Journal of International Economic Law, Polish Yearbook of International Law andInternationalCommunity Law Review.
