讲座人介绍：

Ewan Mckendrick教授是牛津大学常务副校长、英国私法教授、玛格丽特女士学院研究员。他拥有爱丁堡大学的法学学士学位和牛津大学的法学硕士学位。他是3 Verulam Buildings大律所的出庭律师和格雷律师公会的主要成员。他的教学和研究兴趣集中于商法、合同法和侵权法等领域，且成果丰硕。代表著作主要有：合同法（第九版，Palgrave出版社）、合同法判例与资料（第五版，牛津大学出版社）、Goode on Commercial Law（第四版，律商联讯出版）和跨国商法（牛津大学出版社）。

作为牛津大学常务副校长，Mckendrick教授是大学行政和服务部门（UAS）的主任（由15个部分组成，其中包括法律服务处、教学服务处、招生办公室、财务处、人事和科研服务处）。他同时也是校长理事会的主要战略方针顾问。

Professor Ewan McKendrick is Registrar and Professor of English Private Law at the University of Oxford and a Fellow of Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford. He holds an LLB from the University of Edinburgh and a BCL from the University of Oxford. He is a barrister at 3 Verulam Buildings and a Master of the Bench at Gray's Inn. His teaching and research interests are in commercial law, contract law and tort law and he has published widely in these areas. His principal publications are Contract Law (9th edn, Palgrave), Contract Law: Text Cases and Materials (5th edn, OUP), Goode on Commercial Law (4th edn, LexisNexis) and Transnational Commercial Law (OUP, with K Kronke and R Goode). 

As Registrar, Professor McKendrick is the head of University Administration and Services (UAS) (consisting of 15 sections, which include Legal Services, Academic Services, Student Admissions, Finance Division, Personnel and Research Services).  He is also the principal adviser on strategic policy to the Chancellor and Council.
