Topic: Grounds and Relevant Procedure for Challenging Arbitrator

Short-bio of the Speaker: Mr. Zhang is a senior partner in Co-Effort Law Firm LLP in Shanghai, China. He is the Deputy Chairman of Shanghai Chamber of Commerce for Import & Export. He is currently Adjunct Professors at Shanghai Maritime University, and Shanghai University of International Business and Economy. He was awarded the Top 15 Litigators in China by ALB in 2015.

Mr. Zhang has broad experience both in litigation and international arbitration forums. Over the course of his legal career, Mr. Zhang represented over 250 cases in litigation or arbitration in the area of international trade, maritime disputes, and foreign investment in London, SIAC, HKIAC, CIETAC and other Arbitration Institutions. Mr. Zhang has earned a solid reputation as a lawyer who is extremely experienced in International Trade Remedies; He represented over one hundred cases in this area. He represented over 20 cases in the area of foreign and domestic investment, and more than 30 cases in the area of M & A and also concentration notification. He is listed as arbitrator in 38 international and domestic arbitration institutions.

As one of leading counsels in the field of trade remedies, Mr. Zhang’s team is the specially listed lawyer panel of MOFCOM in “WTO and RTA”, USA 337 investigation, and Trade Barrier legal areas since October 2013.
